Your Questions,
Thoughtfully Answered.
-
Functionally You is designed for women who feel like something in their health is “off,” even if they’ve been told everything looks normal. This approach is best suited for those looking for a more thoughtful, personalized path forward and who are ready to better understand their body through a deeper, root-cause lens.
-
Yes! Many of our clients come to us after being told their labs look normal, while still experiencing symptoms that don’t feel fully explained. Our approach is designed to look deeper, identify overlooked patterns, and provide more personalized insight into what may be contributing to how you feel.
-
Any recommendations, including medications, supplements, or additional support, are based entirely on your individual clinical assessment and needs. Because care is personalized, treatment plans are never one-size-fits-all, and enrollment in a consultation or program does not guarantee a prescription.
-
Yes! Additional specialty testing may be recommended based on your symptoms, health history, and goals. This may include more advanced diagnostics such as comprehensive gut health testing, specialty hormone testing, or other targeted functional assessments when clinically appropriate.
-
No! Baseline lab testing is built into the consultation process, so there’s no need to gather outside testing beforehand. We’ll guide you through what’s needed and ensure we start with the right information.
-
After booking, you’ll begin by completing your intake forms and baseline lab work. Lab results are typically returned within 5–10 business days, at which point we’ll schedule your consultation to review everything in depth.
Most clients complete the initial process (from booking to consultation) within approximately 2–3 weeks, depending on lab timing and scheduling availability.
-
To begin, you’ll first purchase your Deep Dive Clarity Session through the booking page here. Once your purchase is complete, you’ll receive access to your intake forms and comprehensive baseline lab order.
After your intake forms and labs have been completed, you’ll be able to schedule your one-on-one consultation to review your results in depth.
Rather than spending your consultation deciding what to test first, your visit is designed to focus on identifying meaningful patterns, connecting the bigger picture of your health, and creating clear next steps tailored to your symptoms and goals.
Additional or more advanced testing may also be recommended after your consultation if clinically appropriate.
-
Once your consultation is purchased, your lab order will be sent electronically by our Nurse Practitioner and can be completed at a nearby Quest Diagnostics location. This makes the process simple and accessible, with convenient testing available in most areas.
-
Functionally You is a self-pay practice and does not accept insurance. This allows for a more personalized and comprehensive approach to care, without the time constraints, treatment limitations, or restrictions often associated with insurance-based models.

At this time, services are available in the following states: Ohio, Arizona, Colorado, Delaware, Kansas, Maryland, Massachusetts, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oregon, Rhode Island, Utah, Vermont, and Washington.
Clients must be physically located in an eligible state at the time of service and at the time lab orders are placed.

By participating in services with Functionally You, you consent to receiving care via telehealth. Telehealth involves the use of electronic communications to enable healthcare services when you and your provider are not in the same physical location.
You understand that telehealth may have limitations compared to in-person care and that you have the right to request in-person services when available.
You also acknowledge responsibility for ensuring you are located in an eligible state at the time of service.
-
All services are self-pay and due at the time of booking.
Due to the time, preparation, and clinical planning involved in your care, all program purchases are non-refundable.
By enrolling in a program, you are committing to the full duration of care (typically 3–6 months), allowing adequate time for meaningful results and appropriate adjustments.
If services cannot be provided due to location restrictions or other eligibility factors, a refund will be issued minus any applicable administrative or processing fees. Once lab orders have been placed or services have been rendered, refunds are not available.
-
We understand that schedules may change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please do so at least 24 hours in advance.
Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice or missed without notice may be subject to a cancellation fee or forfeiture of the session.
Late arrivals may result in a shortened session to respect scheduled time commitments.

Lab testing is included as part of the initial consultation experience. Clients are responsible for completing lab work in a timely manner. Results are used to guide personalized recommendations and next steps in care.
Additional or specialty testing may be recommended based on individual needs.
